Service School Schedule

• Sep. 14 - Oct. 9, 1st and 2nd year
• Apr. 11 - May 6, 1st and 2nd year
• 3rd and 4th year students will continue to attend classes in Seattle, with LU #66

OSHA Class

• OSHA CLASS-None scheduled at this time

Meetings

• Union meetings are now the last Wednesday of the month
• JATC meetings are now the third Tuesday of the month

Continuing Education

Journeyman up-grade classes such as Mathematics, Hoisting and Rigging, and Foreman Training are scheduled as needed.
October 12 Basic SMAW, stick welding: A 4 hour class on machine set-up, basic principles, electrode classification and proper welding technique. Gloves and welding helmets will be provided. Max of 6 people
November 8,9 & 10 OSHA 10: Receive your OSHA 10 certification in this 3 night class.
November 16 &17 Auto CAD: A two night class on the basics of computer drafting. Max of 6 people.
January 18,19, & 20 Fire Life Safety: Receive your level 1 certification for fire damper installation and maintenance. This is becoming a requirement in many areas outside. This is a 2 night class.
January 30 & 31 Bluebeam and Auto desk 360: A two night class on the basics of new software to make communication faster and more reliable in the construction field. Especially recommended for Foremen.
March 8 Basic GMAW, wire feed and MIG welding: A 4 hour class on machine set-up, basic principles, electrode classification and proper welding technique. Gloves and welding helmets will be provided. Max of 6 people.
April 5 Basic GTAW, Heliarc and TIG welding: A 4 hour class on machine set-up, basic principles, electrode classification and proper welding technique. Gloves and welding helmets will be provided. Max of 6 people.
April 19 & 20 SS grinding and polishing: 2 nights of erasing welds and putting a finish back into Stainless Steel. GTAW class will be a prerequisite. Max of 6 people.
May 9 & 10 Hoisting and Signaling Certification: Receive a qualification card for Hoisting & Rigging and Signaling. This is a two night class.
